pukunui Technology

Pukunui Technology was started in 2000 by Shane Elliott in Perth, Western Australia and has quickly grown to an international enterprise with clients from around the globe. With a background in both the education and IT sectors, we were proud to find a local product of the calibre of moodle. In 2004 we became an official moodle partner and currently provide a range of moodle related services to education and training institutions of all sizes. We are involved in the ongoing development of the core moodle code and proudly promote it as a quality educational product.
One of the questions we get asked most is "What does Pukunui mean?" It is derived from Maori and literally means big belly. Why choose such a strange Maori name for an Australian business? Well it may have something to do with Shane's Maori ancestry and his appetite for a good steak but you'll have to ask him for the real reason.
